Pintosas em Pintura

São Paulo 2018

André Niemeyer presents 11 paintings and an installation that explores the kitsch, the blasphemous, ideas of camp and queerness. Some images despites objects considered of good taste and are settled in what looks like a Parisian apartment, place where André lived for 12 years.

The characters in the picture assume poses that we normally would see in fashion magazines, and are dressed in colorful clothes, that creates the rhythm of a geometric abstract painting. A way of seen the world as an aesthetic phenomenon.
